About the name

About the name "Piglet". It is not a reference to Christopher Robin's imaginary friend. Rather, a friend of mine, a real one, a very talented artist (see for yourself) made this drawing of a flying piglet. I managed to trade him some sailing related gear for it and got his permission to use it for a boat logo. So, the idea is for the piglet to be painted on the hull somewhere.
After some research on how to work the GIMP, Inkscape and who-knows-what-else, I managed to reduce the drawing into the little sketch below:

I'm thinking of having it printed as a transfer sticker on vinyl, or maybe it would be cool to try and spray paint it using a stencil. Banksy style;) Which would probably mean some further work on the graphic design... but with the winter upon us, there is not much else to do ;). Actually it's not that bad, the temperatures are steady and above 8 centigrade, so I could even start thinking about some epoxy work on the hull. But between my life right now, intense as it is and the holidays coming it might be difficult to start thinking about any extracurricular activities before the end of the winter. Or at least new year's.
